The easiest way to know whether a person is #activist or if it is activism – is to see whether the person explodes on you when you disagree.
#Opinion – “hey, I still prefer pink hair”
#Advocacy – “hey, I think pink hair is the way to go for everyone. The reason is because ….. “
#Activism – “hey, people should have pink hair! How can anyone think that anything other than pink hair is the right way to go? Only racists and misogynists dont like pink hair!”
Activism/activists have no regards for other people’s feelings, emotions or opinions. They would burn down the entire country (if its within their power) to get people to toll their lines. And that is how you got islamic #extremism and #communism as well. They all started as activism.
